SPC Sutphin was key in the completion of phase maintenance, inspections and repairs, and over 100 unscheduled maintenance tasks. SPC Sutphin served as an Aircraft Structural Repairer in AVCO, Task Force Sinai, providing maintenance to eight UH-60L aircraft. Through his efforts, the delicate calibration of tools was completed in a timely manner. SPC Meigs was chosen among five Specialists to be the Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Representative accountable for special tools and diagnostic equipment valued at $500,000. His willingness to accept additional responsibilities was particularly noteworthy.
